In January 2002, June Meyer was able to fulfill a dream of opening a shop with several different room themes. Her original shop, June’s Antiques and Collectibles, was more of a traditional antique shop with its grand antiques and collectibles from antique furniture and hardware to tools and kitchen gadgets. With the closing the June’s Antiques location in April of 2003, June began to devote of her time to selecting outstanding antiques and merchandise for the Cottage. In 2007, June began offering a menu to entice local diners into the Cottage for a variety of events. Expanding throughout the first floor and the patio, the Cottage has served up fantastic meals and memories.
